Safe Travels Complete Insurance is a comprehensive visitors insurance plan for non-U.S. citizens up to age 89. It is for people who reside outside the USA and are traveling outside their home country to visit the United States.
Coverage must be purchased before departure, and the insured must arrive in the USA before traveling to any other covered country.
Medical maximum choices include $60,000, $250,000, $500,000, or $1,000,000 per insurance period, with deductible options of $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, or $5,000.
For medical care in the United States, the plan provides access to the United Healthcare PPO Network. After the applicable deductible, the plan pays 80% of eligible medical expenses with participating network providers and 60% with providers outside the network.
Safe Travels Complete Insurance is underwritten by Zurich Insurance Europe AG Belgian branch.
Safe Travels Complete Insurance includes coverage for eligible stable pre-existing conditions, with pre-existing condition medical maximum choices of $20,000, $25,000, $30,000, $40,000, or $50,000. Separate deductibles apply to covered expenses related to pre-existing conditions.
Medically necessary treatment for COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, and covered mutations or variations is covered as any other sickness, subject to the selected medical maximum and plan terms.
A 90-day minimum premium is required. Coverage may be extended for up to 364 days in total, and up to 30 days of coverage outside the United States is available during the insurance period.
